“ Tracy Buck is hands-down my first choice for boarding.  Tracy has a special understanding of dogs and I trust her implicitly with my Shelties, which means I don't have to worry about them while I'm away.   I know that during their stays with her they are in a positive environment where they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and topnotch care.  They seem to have a really great time at Tracy’s home and probably do see it as their own little doggie vacation!  Thanks, Tracy, for always taking such great care of my "kids"! “

“We have been truly blessed with all of our experiences with Tracy. Our two dogs are so much a part of our lives and hearts that we were at times hesitant and anxious when we made other boarding arrangements.

During a routine interaction with our vet, we discovered that she has boarded her own animals with Tracy. Our vet had glowing remarks about Tracy and the care and attention that she provided to her pets. We made a "get acquainted" visit with our critters and met Tracy.

Tracy's low key demeanor and positive reinforcement behavior management approach was amazing from the beginning. Tracy put us all at ease with her insight, humor and professionalism. Tracy's interaction with our dogs was warm and caring with guided discipline. This was important for us as one requires a special diet and medication as well as re-direction with respect to socialization/attention issues.

Tracy is very consistent with the "4 paws on the floor" policy and she has often shared on-going training and behavior shaping skills with us. The peace of mind that comes with knowing that our dogs are in a nurturing home environment is indescribable. The one on one attention that our pets receive with Tracy is outstanding and far exceeds places we have used in the past. “

Our dogs are happy and healthy when we pick them up but I have noticed a wistful look that both have as they look back over their shoulder as we leave their home away from home in the country.

Hi Tracy,

Not sure if you remember me or not, but I participated in your Shy Dog class a few months ago. You kept saying Sammie would benefit from another dog. Well we got one – a boxer puppy named Hank. Sammie is a completely different dog. We actually have 2 dogs now!! She now plays with toys on the floor in the house, she eats in the house, she runs around the house – just like a normal dog. We have had the puppy for 2 wks now and I have seen a HUGE improvement in Sammie. She now follows us around the house and sits by me when I’m in the kitchen doing things.

Hank is a very active puppy – he’s 8 wks old and Sammie has really taken to him. I think she sees us playing with Hank and nothing bad happens to him so she is much more comfortable. It’s been too cold for them to play outside but we are looking forward to the warmer weather this weekend.

I just wanted to let you know how Sammie has progressed. I also wanted to Thank You for all of your help with her. I know we still have a long way to go but she is really improving and had it not been for your patience and advice, we may not have another dog. Your class was truly amazing and we learned so much. We continue to work with Sammie and she is even getting better around strangers – still has a way to go with this one though.

Thanks again for everything. You will hear from us again should we need your services. We were truly impressed with your class and all you do.
